Lest We Forget How To love - (Previous Post) - By Kids

What Does 'Love' mean?
A group of professional people posed this question to a group of 4 to 8 year-olds, 'What does 'love' mean?' The answers they got ere broader and deeper than anyone could have imagined. See what you think........

Rebecca- age 8
'When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore.
So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love.'

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jessica - age 8
'You really shouldn't say 'I love you' unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget.'
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And the final one -- Author and lecturer Leo Buscaglia once talked about a con test he was asked to judge. The purpose of the con test was to find the most caring child. The winner was a four year old child whose next door neighbor was an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife.
Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old gentleman's yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there. When his Mother asked what he had said to the neighbor, the little boy said, 'Nothing, I just helped him cry'

Love this one...BM

Kids are always sincere. Why on earth do we complicate things that are simple even the issues of faith? I think life would be much better if we look the world through the eyes of a child. We are children of God afterall. Better drop the 'adult' attitude.

Greetings Pastoor.

The blog is a 'wow' thing. I thank God for you and the way you do things differently. Sometimes your thinking sounds very weird and that's what branding is all about. I appreciate you for thinking outside the box.

I believe the blog will also be a platform for sharing other important issues pertaing marriage, personal breakthroughs, overcoming strange things in life, general and special issues affecting men, women, boys and girls, maybe your opinion on other sound things that cannot be voiced through the pulpit.

God bless u

Wow, i am going to send this one to my wife surely and emphasis DON'T BE THE HEARER ONLY BUT BE THE DOER. "'Love is when Mummy gives Daddy the best piece of chicken.'
Elaine-age 5, I love the block and find it refreshing. Giving me something to think about daily. Arthur

I honestly believe that, in some way, this is God's view through these children

I spoke to one kid and asked her what's the difference between kids and adults. Here's the answer "kids live longer than adults because kids listen to their parents but the adults don't listen to anybody"
This made me realize How deep kids can be at times. long live the kids!.

Children seem to take note of the things that we overlook and consider to be foolish. It is those very things that make life have a meaning. This is a classic.
I love the blog and thank you Sir...
